It has come to light that Pathan will be the first film to play in Baramulla and Handwara theaters. Both are theaters in Indian-controlled Kashmir. A video of Manoj Sinha inaugurating the Baramulla Theater is out on Saturday.
The Sherwani Community Hall on the National Highway, the heart of town, now the Baramulla Theater, sends a message of normalcy after the revocation of Article 370 in August 2019. The community hall is a denomination after Kashmir Nationalist leader Maqbool Sherwani.
Two theaters in Baramulla, Rigina, and Army-run Thimaya had to close after the outbreak of the insurgency. A well-known local businessman once owned and ran the recently opened movie theater, which is a short distance from Riginia.
Wade e Jannat has been a beautiful place for shooting for several decades. But due to the rise of militancy in 1990, cinema halls in the state were shut down.

Around the same time, on September 18, 2022, Indian politician and Minister of State, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, inaugurated a multipurpose dream palace in Pulwama and Shopian districts. A company called Jadooz manages these theaters.
In addition, RRR became the first film to get a screening in Kashmir after nearly three decades in Pulwama and the Shopian circuit theater.
On July 14, 2023, Manoj infrequently opened two additional theaters with multiple uses, one in Baramulla and the other in Handwara in North Kashmir. Jadooz will also be in charge of running these theaters.
As per a report, both theaters have 100 seats with cafes, seminars, and conference facilities for the youth.The government wants to expand the entertainment options in the state because the poster of Pathan can be a glimpse on the walls of the cinema hall along with Jawan and Gaddar 2. It means these two will also exhibit in the cinema.
